We are thrilled with the turnout for our inaugural SEND conference held at @stpaulsleicester yesterday. Delegates from our Trust and from schools across the region attended three workshops, including classroom culture, adaptations in the classroom, learning from specialist practitioners and social, emotional and mental health and the stages of child development. Workshops were led by a fantastic team of experts and the morning was concluded by an inspirational and profoundly moving keynote from Ben Newmark. 💙
We have had a lovely morning in the Trust offices celebrating staff from across our schools who have achieved a `Trust Certificate in Special Educational Needs Support`. This certificate covered how children learn, child development, areas of need, adaptation and support, partnerships and de-escalation strategies.
Well done to all the staff who have worked so hard on this, who are pictured here, as well as those staff who celebrated remotely from their school.
We are really proud of your achievements. 💙
Many congratulations to Yuvaan (from Sacred Heart in Leicester) and Anna (from English Martyrs` in Leicester) who won our Trust Nature Photo Competition! Prizes will be on the way to their schools! ❤

May His Holiness Pope Francis rest in God’s eternal peace.
As a family of schools, we thank God for his teaching, his compassion for all and his Christ-like example. We also pray for wisdom and courage for those who will choose the Church’s next leader; may Pope Francis’ successor continue to lead as he has with love, generosity of spirit and Christian kindness.
Welcome to our new cohort of primary school pupils who`ll be joining us in Autumn! We are so happy you`re joining the family 💙
